Terms, Rules & Rental Conditions (Summer)

The rentee assumes full responsibility for the rented equipment, including its proper use, care, and return.

The rental equipment is not insured. A Liability Agreement “EQUIPMENT PROTECTION” can be purchased for a surcharge of €10 per day per bicycle. This waiver covers damage caused by accidents, but not damage resulting from improper use, negligence, or intent. Total damage or theft/loss is not included.

In case of theft or total loss, the customer must immediately file a report with the competent authorities. The equipment will be charged to the customer at 80% of the manufacturer’s recommended retail price.

In case of partial damage or damage caused by improper use, negligence, or willful misconduct, the repair costs (spare parts and labor) are fully borne by the customer.

In case of breakdown, defect, or stoppage, the customer must independently arrange the return of the bicycle. The recovery service is not included, whether with or without the “EQUIPMENT PROTECTION”.

The rental price must be paid in advance. The rented equipment must be returned until 5:30 p.m. on the agreed day. In case of late return, an additional rental day will be charged. Failure to return the equipment on the agreed date may result in a theft report filed by the rental shop.

An early return is always possible, but a refund of the rental fee is only granted in case of illness or accident with a valid medical certificate.

Cancellation is possible until 2 days before the rental pick up.

Upon collection of the rented equipment, the customer declares with the acceptance of the “Terms, Rules & Rental Conditions (Summer)” that it received the rental equipment in perfect condition and accepts the individual adjustment of saddle height, brakes, and bicycle geometry according to his/her physical data.

By signing this agreement, the renter (or parent/legal guardian in case of minors) accepts all terms and releases Articoli Sportivi Malsiner Klaus from any civil or criminal liability related to the activity.
